Register, Order and Pay

Welcome to foodpod. Foodpod refers to “Food Pickup Or Delivery”. Use foodpod to order goods and services from your local participating store. 

Foodpod offers two different portals for you to order and pay,

Web browser version

Your store will provide a web link to you via their website, social media, by email or a QR code displayed at their shopfront.
Tap the link to open the stores online ordering.

App version, download to iOS/Android

You can also download the foodpod app onto your smart phone. Supports iOS and Android phones. 

On download, Allow Location & Notification services to be ON

The main screen will display participating stores nearby 30 km radious, Or Search  by Address of the store. 
The best thing about the app is, you have the foodpod icon on your phone to tap and order any time.
To download, Search ‘foodpod’ on the Appstore and Google store.

Using foodpod. How to select items to order

Once you opened the menu, you are ready to order
1. Tap on category you are interested in
2. Tap on the item ( may display other option like size selection or addons and included items.)
3. Tap Add to Order, repeat for other items, then
4. Tap Finalise Order


Small Fees and Card Surcharges may apply for online ordering.

The fees can be in the form of Card surcharge, Holiday Surcharge and Delivery. The fee supports the use of banks portal for processing credit card and the maintenance of foodpod. The fee is displayed on the summary page. 

5. First time users need to Register by providing Name, Mobile number & Email. Details are used to send you an electronic receipt.  
6. Then Pay with a New Credit card, enter your payment details. Save Card is checked by default, to avoid re-entering next time you order. You may add multiple credit cards. The card details are secured by accredited PCI Standards.


Registering your details

You need to Sign-In to foodpod,
Use your email and password (Pin) to Sign-in. If its your first order, payment button will ask your to Register your details

This is the Register page.
Your Name will be reference on the order docket, 
Your Email is for your Sign-In, & to send you a Receipt.
Your Mobile number will be used to notify you on the status of your order.
Your Password or 4 digit Pin is required for your Sign-In
Company name is optional entry

Credit card details saved

After you enter your credit card details. The card details are saved for future orders. You may add multiple payment cards and choose which to pay with on your next order. The card details are secured by PCI compliency and saved on banks portal.

Welcome to foodpod. Foodpod refers to “Food Pickup Or Delivery”. Although not limited to food, the foodpod can be used by any retailer offering their goods or services to be ordered online making it more convientent to their customers. By using the foodpod app, you are accepting the following terms and conditions.
Foodpod is a software application developed for customers to purchase goods or services from companies using the ClickPOS point of sale. The orders can be pickup or delivery from their local participating store using ClickPOS Point of Sale system.

  1. Support your local food business

By ordering from foodpod, you are actually supporting your local business stay in business and keeping the prices lower. How? Well the foodpod app is integrated to the point of sale system being used internally within the store.   1. About the company

Foodpod is operated by ClickPOS Pty Ltd ACN 093 682 243; a company incorporated in Australia registered office at 215 Rouse Street Port Melbourne Vic Australia. The term ‘we, us’ or ‘foodpod’ refers to ClickPOS Pty Ltd. Contact us via email info@clickpos.com

  1. About foodpod

Our objective is to link you (the customer) to the food service businesses (our clients) who are using the ClickPOS point of sale App within their store. The foodpod app acts as an agent providing an online ordering portal where you can view the restaurant’s menu, select items and order the food for Pickup or Delivery (the delivery service is provided by the client). Make payment using credit card or other means available on the foodpod app.

  1. Registering your details

Once you download the foodpod app to your device or opened in a web browser, you need to register your details. Before you finalise your first order you need to register your details.  You must keep any password you create, or other secure login method, secret, and prevent others from accessing your email account or mobile phone. If another person uses these methods to access your account, you will be responsible to pay for any Items they order, and we are not responsible for any other losses you suffer.

You may close your account at any time unregistering within foodpod, then by deleting the foodpod app from your device  or by contacting us using the contact details above. We may suspend your access to your account, or close it permanently, if we believe that your account has been used by someone else. We may also close your account if in our opinion you are abusing our Service (for example, by applying for refunds or credit to which we do not consider you are entitled, making repeated unreasonable complaints, mistreating our staff, or any other reason we deem appropriate).

Location Services (Android or iOS App)

You will see a request for permission to access your location information when you sign up for foodpod. As a default, the app asks for your location “while using the app.” If you opt in, the app will collect and send the location data to Foodpod app. We use location data to provide a list of restaurants nearby to make selection of outlets easier for you. We also use it to understand and resolve support tickets, to troubleshoot and solve software bugs, and generally to customize and improve the location-based services we provide.

If you opt out of the location permission, you can still use Foodpod by manually entering your delivery address prior to.

Push Notifications

After you sign up for Foodpod, you may also be asked to choose whether you want to receive push notifications. If you opt in, the Push Notification Service generates a unique token for your device and shares it with Foodpod so we can send Push Notifications to your phone, such as the status of your food being prepared following an your order from you.

If you opt out of Push Notifications, you will simply receive the receipt of your purchase via email. You can update your preferences in your phone Settings.

  1. Orders in general

When you place an order through the foodpod app, the total amount including any fees (typically credit card/holiday surcharge or delivery fees) will be pre authorised on the credit card; once pre-authorisation is successful, the store will be notified of the new order. The store will “Accept” the order. Your credit card will then be charged the amount. You will receive a “Confirmation Message”. The food preparation will begin at this stage there will be no cancellation. The restaurants may use nuts or other allergens in the preparation of certain Items. Please Enter Notes into the order or contact the store prior to ordering if you have an allergy. foodpod cannot guarantee that any of the Items sold by the stores are free of allergens.

  1. Pickup Orders

The pickup order eliminates manually telephoning the store to make an order. Once you select your items, you will have the option of selecting date and time of pickup. The store has the option of changing the time as they may have many other orders to fullfill. The new time will be notified to you on acceptance of the order. Please note the hours of operation of the store before choosing a date and time. You have the option of selecting a future date in preparation of an order.

  1. Delivery orders

Not all stores deliver. If the store does not provide delivery service, then you will not have the option to select Delivery. Please check the store details on the main screen if the store offers delivery service.

For those that offer delivery, the store may charge a delivery fee. The delivery fee and amounts are based on the discretion of the store. Some stores may deliver however only to certain distances from the store.

  1. Cancellation of order

Once the store accepts the order, then the restaurant has started to prepare the order.

You are required to contact the store directly to discuss your options for refund less any fees applicable. If you cancel any order after being accepted by the store, you will be charged the full price for the Items, then a refund may be issued after it is accepted by the store. The refund may take upto 5 working days to process by the bank.

  1. Prices and payment

Prices include GST. Our Service is for personal, non-commercial use unless you request a GST invoice. Foodpod operates dynamic pricing, which means that prices of Items and delivery may change while you are browsing. Price changes are applied at the discretion of the restaurants. Foodpod reserve the right to charge a credit card surcharge fee which includes a Service Fee, which may be subject to change, for the provision of our Services. You will be notified of any applicable fee and taxes prior to purchase on the checkout page on the foodpod application. No changes will affect orders after acceptance of orders;  nor will changes to prices affect any orders in process and appearing within your basket. Where Restaurant makes a delivery, the restaurant may also charge you a delivery fee. This will be notified to you during the order process before you complete your order.

The total price of your order will be set out on the checkout page on our Application, including the prices of Items and Delivery and applicable surcharge fees and taxes.

Payment for all Items and deliveries can be made on the foodpod Application by credit card. Once your order has been accepted by the store, your credit card will be authorised and the total amount marked for payment. Payment is made directly to ClickPOS acting as the agent on behalf of the Restaurant.

We are authorised by the Restaurants to accept payment on their behalf and payment of the price of any Items or delivery charges to us will fulfil your obligation to pay the price to the Restaurant. The order will not be processed unless you make payment via the foodpod app. You cannot make payment by cash at the restaurant or at the time of delivery.

  1. Data protection and privacy policy

All personal information that you supply in connection with the registration will be collected, used, disclosed and managed by us in accordance with our privacy policy. Your personal details will be passed on to the store in which you are purchasing from, in order for them to prepare and deliver. The credit card details are protected and are not stored in ClickPOS app; that is, for each order/payment made, the details are sent directly to the participating Eftpos merchant in encrypted format complying with bank standards of PCI compliance.  The card details are saved on your device for future use. 

  1. foodpod app and software updates

We aim to update our Site and our Service regularly and may change the content at any time. If the need arises, we may suspend access to our Site and our Service, or close them indefinitely. Any of the material on our Site or our Service may be out of date at any given time, and we are under no obligation to update such material.

The foodpod app is developed on supporting the latest operating systems, this means outdated devices may not operate foodpod.

  1. Our Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, foodpod provides Service and content on an “as-is” and “as available” basis and we make no representation or warranty of any kind, express or implied, regarding the content or availability of our Service, or that it will be timely or error-free or that defects will be corrected. To the maximum extent permitted by law and subject as provided below, foodpod and any Restaurant expressly disclaim all warranties and conditions with regard to any portion of our Service, including but not limited to all implied warranties and conditions of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement, and all responsibility for any loss, injury, claim, liability or damage of any kind, including resulting from, arising out of or any way related to:

  1. any errors in or omissions from the Website, including but not limited to technical inaccuracies and typographical errors;
  2. any third party contents therein directly or indirectly accessed through links in the Website, including but not limited to any errors or omissions;
  3. the unavailability of the Service, or any portion; or
  4. computer viruses, system failure or malfunction which may occur in connection with your use of the Website, including during hyperlink to or from third party content; or
  5. our supply of meals as a service to you in accordance with this agreement.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, neither foodpod nor any  restaurant shall have any liability to you for any direct, indirect, special or consequential losses or damages arising in contract, tort (including, without limitation, negligence) or otherwise arising from your use of or your inability to use our Service. To the extent the foregoing limitation of liability is prohibited or despite the limitation above, in the event that foodpod or the restaurant is found to be liable to you, our total aggregate liability is limited to the purchase price of the Meals you have paid for in your order.

  1. Your rights

You have certain legal rights when you order Items using our Application. You can find more information about these rights (Australia) at: https://www.accc.gov.au/consumers/consumer-rights-guarantees. Your legal rights are not affected by these Terms, which apply in addition to them and do not replace them.  By registering to Foodpod, you confirm that you accept these Terms.

Customer, you :  the registered customer ordering food

Store, client, food service provider, restaurant, café, takeaway :  food service business actively using the ClickPOS point of sale within the store to accept foodpod online orders.

Register : Enter your details, and create a password

Device : Android and Apple devices. Apple iPhone, iPad, or Android devices that supports latest operating systems.

Accept : the process of confirming the order and its content by the store .

Confirmation Message : Your order is confirmed, and order amount is charged to your credit card. The message will only appear on your device if push notification is activated.

foodpod App : the application downloaded onto Android or iOS device

foodpod Web browser: Application that operates on internet browser eg Google, Safari etc. (No download required) Used for table orders
